Zhenjiang Shipyard Delivers a New Generation of Environmentally Friendly and Energy saving Self dumping Cement Ship
On January 11, 2024, the 5650DWT self dumping cement transport ship "CEMCOMMANDER", built and participated in the detailed design by Jiangsu Zhenjiang Shipyard (Group) Co., Ltd. for the German shipowner, was completed and delivered, and set sail smoothly.
The ship adopts the world's most advanced self unloading equipment that integrates mechanical and pneumatic loading and unloading, and its main technical indicators have reached the international advanced level. At the same time, it has the characteristics of safety, green environmental protection, and low energy consumption of modern self dumping cement ships. It can save up to 20% of fuel and reduce 25% of carbon emissions every year, with obvious energy-saving and emission reduction effects, and has a broad market space.
The ship has a total length of 113.4 meters, a molded width of 15.4 meters, a molded depth of 8.4 meters, a designed draft of 6 meters, a speed of 11 knots, and an automatic unloading capacity of 250 tons/hour for cement.
