New Yangtze Shipbuilding Delivers a 52000 ton Bulk Carrier for Yangtze River Navigation
On the morning of April 23rd, a 52000DWT bulk carrier, "Huayuan 503", built by New Yangtze Shipbuilding of Yangtze River Shipbuilding Group for the Yangtze River Shipping Center, departed from the factory and made its maiden voyage, putting it into operation.
"Huayuan 503" is a domestic river sea direct bulk carrier, suitable for transporting bulk solid goods such as coal, ore, grains, etc. The ship has a total length of 199.95 meters, a width of 32.26 meters, a structural draft of 11.2 meters, a structural draft carrying capacity of 53300 tons, a service speed of 13 knots, and a daily fuel consumption of 14.7 tons. The ship is equipped with a shaft generator, making shore power more energy-efficient and environmentally friendly.
The signing and delivery ceremony for the "Huayuan 503" vessel was held at 10:18 am on April 22nd. Mr. Fei Tokyo, General Manager of Yangtze River Shipping Center, and Mr. Du Chengzhong, Deputy General Manager of Yangtze River Shipbuilding Group and General Manager of New Yangtze Shipbuilding, respectively signed the delivery documents on behalf of both parties. Representatives from the Yangtze River Shipping Center fleet, group management team, and other relevant parties attended and witnessed.
